AI agent for car customs clearance: product, brand and website
A customs broker augmented with AI: it calculates the customs value, fills in the declaration and submits it to MD Office in seconds. We built the whole product — from the AI core to the brand.
(Challenge)
Car customs clearance in Ukraine still relies on a broker's manual work: data from the registration document, prices from several sources, duty, excise and VAT calculations, and filling in the declaration. One car takes 20–40 minutes, and errors occur in up to 15% of declarations. The goal was to automate the entire chain and package it into a product that declarants and brokerage firms can trust.
(Solution)
We built an AI agent that takes a case from VIN to a finished declaration. OCR reads the registration document, the price is pulled from AutoAstat for US cars or from the fixed customs value base for EU cars, payments are calculated automatically, and the declaration goes to MD Office via API. Declarants get a web panel with a full audit trail for every case. Around the product we built the brand: an “A” mark with an AI spark, a dark tech palette with a violet gradient, and a landing page for sales.
The mark
The letter “A” — for AI and Auto — with a four-pointed spark inside that became the visual marker of artificial intelligence. The shape resembles a road in perspective, and the simple silhouette works equally well as an app icon, a favicon and a messenger avatar.
An AI agent instead of routine
The broker no longer switches between five systems. The agent collects the data, checks the price, calculates payments and fills in the declaration, while a person only reviews the result. Every step is logged, so any case can be opened to see where each number came from.
From VIN to declaration in 10 seconds. The broker spends the rest of the time on clients, not on copying fields.
